This photo shows exactly what I love about older people. It's wonderful how Mr. Fritzman's face shows his age and makes you think about what he experienced in his life. His little smile lets me anticipate that he had a good life so far and can look back quite happy.
The focus on Mr. Fritzmans's face is outstandig, you can't be distracted by the calm background, which emphasizes his confident look.
This photo really forces you to wonder how your life will be when you're 80 and on what great or terrible things you will look back. And it makes you hope that you will be smiling like Mr. Fritzman does.
I love your photos so much. They're so endearing and you capture real life into photography so well. There's something nice and a bit whimsical about the smile of Mr. Fritizman in this photo. It's nice.
Photos like these boost my confidence enough to aspire to photograph people like this. Excellent capture of the sheer weight of age carried by this man.
such great focus. I really love the way you get your portraits to stand out from the page. They always "pop" and have such fantastic textures! Now i've got to ask.. is this mainly due to the way you photograph and the lens you use, or do you do alot of post processing, layers work, sharpening? ~(if your willing to comment of course... some photographers are really secretive).
You have a fabulous style, evident in all your work. You have truly created a look for yourself! And it is stunning...
