A stranger, Subway montréal

Démarche:
Interroger le monde hypermoderne dans lequel on vis et tenté de brisé l'hyperindividualisme et l’anonymat de la grande ville. En allant dans des Non-lieux (métro, centre commercial, rue passante à l’heure de point) et en demandant à des étranger de les prendre en photo, je brise pour quelque instant le fonctionnement habituelle de ce monde hypermoderne. Je rend ces Non-lieux existants en y créant un événement dont l’étranger vas se souvenir. Mes modèles je les choisis non pas pour leurs beautés esthétiques, mais pour leurs beautés émotionnelles du moment.

Approach to photography:
Questioning the hypermodern world in which we are living and trying to break this hyper-individualism and the anonymity of the big city. By going into “Non-lieux” (no existing places) (subways, malls, and crowded streets at rush hours …

and by talking to people to take photos, I break the usual way this hyper-modern world works for a few instants. I make real these “non-lieux” by creating an event that the stranger will remember. I choose my models because of the emotional beauty of the instant and not because of their esthetic beauties.
