A stranger
I met on the street three months ago and invited me to go into his apartment.
I returned and showed the first pictures I took of him.
I brought my flash because I knew that I was still shooting him.
But I did not know it was proposed to pose nude for me

His story:
I do not know the whole story of this man, but I can tell you what I know. He is 53 and lives in a small apartment on my street. In 2006 his mother died, with which he had lived with in this apartment. After her death he was alone. I think he lived his whole life with his mother, so her death for him was a tragic event. Since he lives alone and does not work, it uses the money he inherited to live.
he is currently looking for a smaller apartment, because he is now only one.

P.S. (his photo is one of my best and one of my deepest, it is also one of the least preteeness pictures I made

Très touchant. Je pense que tu es francophone. Benoît Paillé, c'est très Québécois! Les photos de cet homme sont troublantes. Du travail de maître! Je crois que les photos sont à l'image de la vie du sujet. Il ne l'a pas eue facile, c'est clair! / Very touching. That man's pictures are unnerving. That man's life seems to be utterly troublesome.

my first thought when i saw this "was wow we are the same age he and i, but look so different." He almost looks like he has untreated diabetes. because of the way his feet and toes look. Here is a man who has been beaten down by life... i am glad you became a friend because he probably doesn't have many.

But, then, i undestand the man, i... im 17 years old, i live whit my mom and grandmother, and would be devastated to the death of both, since, i dont know how to work.
