the colors and tones are very well in key with the feeling of the picture, using the blue background gave this artwork a calm feeling almost in contrast to what the man in the picture is portraying, a strong confident soul, and putting him in a black tuxedo really does give him a strong sillouted contrast to the backround, his hands and his cuffs are really put out there because he is put in black, giving more of a 3d feel
his tall proud confident image is very well suported by the background, setting him standing on the ground shows great composition, giving in to the illusion of his legs
Agreeing with the other critiques, I like this contrast of subject vs. background. The guy is erected, he feels safe and comfortable, I also agree with the observation of empty space above him but the feet planted on the ground. It gives me a sensation he is very confident and looking to the horizon, behind the spectator. Stable but looking forward, literally. I like the nuances and textures on the background and finally, I also agree that some light on his shoes would be the final touch to the pic. Congrats, I'm gonna look at your work under what Gnato and DaasEriador have said
Everyone seems to love it, but I actually do not like it. I do not think the colors mesh good together and the animation is looking very odd. I think you should keep trying, because you can do way better.
