Le motel Chantal fût construit en 1966 par Hector le propriétaire . Chantal est le nom de sa fille qui est née cette année là.

I love how the simple little details in the room, like the small rip in the chair upholstery, are so clear that they almost jump out at you. Hector looks just a little tense though, doesn't he? :) Wonderful shot, great work!

I really admire the choices of people you make to photograph. I love getting to know all of these 'average' people and their stories. It's different from everyone else's photos that are just another pretty face.

Beautiful. Not only do the people's stories intrigue me, but every little detail in the room feels like it has a story to tell. Who has slept in this bed before? The room itself is almost like an amalgamation of time, the attempt to stay up to date and new, but unable to cover up the past...if only the walls could talk. Great shot!
