It was for sale.
Chairs, mirrors, beds, pillows. Even toilets and sinks.
You're selling everything?
Yes, in 2 days it will be demolished...
Built in 1954, all that work to end in dust.
There was a strange energy... The rooms were destroyed, the showers were torn down and you can still see the evidence of where objects were left on the old carpet.
This energy of all those people who have been there... young, old, rich or poor, all travelers... Cries of joy, abundance of penalties, the sex... $ 20 for a chair, 2 tables and a lamp. We left... a meager compensation for all those lost memories.

Idea-wise, what comes to my mind first is the moving out of a lazy man. After years of leaving in a worn out hotel room, finally he moves out. He takes the hotel furniture with him too since he internalized them so much. Doing so, he moves out the items in order of their importance(some stuff what seem like plates, toilet and his chair). These 3 sum up his life.

Technically, negative space left in the upper part relaxes the eye and takes away the pressure which is created by the linearly clustered items at the lower part of the photograph. But I would prefer leaving less of the sky to suit rule-of-thirds. Color of the sky and the wall complement each other well. Very good work overall.

What i really love about this is the colours, the warm pink of the walls and the sky is so diffrent to what you would normally think you would find in a situation as dark and final as this, it almost suggests a kind of feeling of resolve...Its such a wonderful touch, very very well done.
