The owner of the motel Agréable rencontre avec la propriétaire des lieux avec plein de belle photo de elle, nous avons eux une nuit gratuite en échange de quelque photos. Je suis littéralement tombé sous sont charme ! (google translate) Pleasant meeting with the owner of the premises with lots of beautiful photo of it, we have them a free night in exchange for some photos. I literally fell below are charming!  Fantastic work. Everything about this image is beautiful, from the colors to the composition. DOF is used very well here.

out-of-focus foreground just vreates more depth, not distraction - that`s quite rare.  quel objectif avez-vous utilisé? la netteté et le DOF sont exquis! i pourrait deviner 50mm f/1.4? Excuse mon français, j'ai traduit avec google ..
--  + =  j'aime beaucoup l'ambiance et le sujet, par contre l'oeil gauche est-il retouché ? il semble assez différent au niveau luminosité en comparaison au droit.
Sinon géniale cette série sur les motels, en France on n'a pas du tout ce type de Motel, d'ailleurs qu'elle est la différence entre un Hotel et un Motel ? a part le M -- see my website : [link]  perfect! i love the composition and light!

besides your photograhical skills (all the great tones, clolours and perfectly designed compositions) no doubt you have that special gift of seeing and showing both the unique expression of a human face and the story that lies beneath that face. Everything seems to be perfect about this photo but if i have to give a critique on it, i would say maybe the eyes of the lady (especially the right eye) are a little too sharpened, making them look somewhat artifical. -- "...i had nothing to offer anybody except my own confusion"  wow....great colours!!

Critiques
The first thing I would like to point out is how the woman is in focus but at the same time she's in the back of the photo. It's a pretty interesting way that you set up framing her with the table and window and made her the star.
You can immediately feel how proud the owner of this hotel is as she looks into the room. She probably was extremely happy to have such an accomplished photographer taking photos of her hotel. Also she looks completely natural, like you've walked up and found her deeply thinking, she was a great model.
The great amount of space in the background creates an empty space but it works. It works because of the color of her jacket. Had her jacket been any other color but a dark tone, your eye would have been lost in scenery of the room. But because she is able to stand out, your eye has something to focus on and keep returning to after exploring the details of the room.
I feel, showing the light source was very important in the photo because it brightens the photo and evens out the weight it holds. And I can't find anything to criticize you for.
