Critiques
Your subject, the centerpiece of the photo as referenced in the title, deviates against the given job the title sets for him to perform. His charm and obvious confidence allows him to become a part of the photo instead of appearing like he is, indeed, some 89 year old stranger. It's not just the paradox of his boyish appearance that you managed to capture, but the beauty of the entire moment. Brilliant capture.
The top of the photo could have been better. The odd negative space, though welcoming to some, feels like it would look better muted or extended. Perhaps it's just the dimension that looks choppy.
This is a beautiful photograph that you should be extremely proud of-- I love the entire series but for some reason, I feel attached to this particularly excellent piece.
