not sure about the experimentation of the extrat light during the 4 minute shooting ( the red and the purple in the bnackground ) ... anyway its an experimentation , no rules !

...... « Par ses gros pixels de lumière, Benoit résume nos villes, notre besoin de lumière pour écarter les sombres inconnues se cachant dans le noir, notre peur de ce que nous ne connaissons finalement peu, notre nature. it looks like the reverse of a tv almost, very surreal and very captivating. it is like something from a horror-story only the monster is nonexistent leaving nothing for on to pin the unsettling feeling on except your own nagging subconsciousness trying to explain what is the purpose of the white square in such a secluded place
I love this series!! It reminds me of my work + plus it give me a great reminder of when I got work with George Clooney in the movie "Leatherheads". This looks just like the set in the foxhole scene.
Have you ever thought of trying to capture one of these (especially the wooded ones) with multiple exposure HDR?
I wonder if it would add another layer of depth, or take away from the expressionistic feel.
