Try some thing different, experimentation is important , go out of my comfort zone is important, Try to make some thing more ordinary

In your photos, even buildings have personality.

Where I am I'm around a lot of tourists in an urban setting and I very rarely see them lie on the ground to take pictures. I already commented that you can't call them crappy using the equipment you have with the eye and brain of an artist, but you also can't call them "tourist" because they don't take pictures lying down.....

I like this 'crappy' series, very interesting angles and shots. I recently got a wide-angle lens and these are giving me lots of ideas to try out.

something different?
C'mon, all were taken from ground vertically, what about the other directions?

Change the change.

he means to say different from what he usually does

yes, true.

please define "usually". =)
How many times does one thing have to be repeated before it is "usual"?

I don't think a tourist would do multiple shots like these, maybe one or two. "Hey guys I've been on holiday in New York look at these skyscrapers..."

well i meant all the things he has done before...
like the things with strangers and other people for example.

and i don't really agree with you that these are similar to real tourist shots.
these amaze me for many reasons, tourist shots don't.

you misunderstood me I think. =)

I said "I don't think a tourist would do multiple shots like these" so yes, we both think that these are not normal tourist's pictures. Even though I said a tourist may take one or two he would take them in another context, not for experimenting like Benoit does.

I was just wondering, because the idea was "Try some thing different" and the titles are "crappy tourist shoot". I expected a bit more experimentation, more difference. So I don't think the titles fit well.
Something like "the bug in the big city" would be better.

Instead of people, there are buildings now; from the ant-perspective.

Let's say you have somebody who wears only green cloths and he thinks about wearing more colorful things. He adds cloths that are blue (only blue). So he has green and blue, two colors, is that colorful?
that's arguable.

It's always a little challenge with English to say exactly what I wantto express, sometimes I win, sometimes I lose.

this is good for a geometry studt, for cromathics and most of all composition. I like the entire set of these new photoes but it's annoing the title because you are just cutting to much out of your skills and out of the efect of the photo.
They are realy not crappy and you should be the first to know this!

they are not crappy in deed, but I woldn say that as a tourist more into photography I woldnt do this kind of shot, it's not nearly original you know. The title is just annoyng and mabe demascs a problem, but It's just one opinion and I'm not willing to negotiate!
