Overall what I really like about this is, I find, it's one of those photos everyone try's to capture at some point-the way you captured it though is exceptional. I love the pants rolled up and reflection in the water giving the whole thing a rather relaxed, joyous feel to it (even though it seems as though it was an overcast day) bravo. Now to the critiquing part, the only thing I find you could have changed; perhaps if you had used a slightly higher f-stop it would have given a little more DoF. Then again in doing so you would have had to use a slower shutter speed-it's a hard call. I think you made the right decision though. In using a low f-stop and faster shutter speed the water splashes in front of the subject (and behind) are a bit out of focus, leading the viewer's eyes towards the subject-in this case the feet.
