Makes sense...I guess I have a lot to learn about depth of feel and what to look for. Thanks for the tip-off. I honestly couldn't see the difference. I need to work with a wide-angle lens more

yeah its just a 18 or 16mm. but its full frame and unless you have a full frame camera you'd think its a wide-angle :P

Sorry, don't mean to butt-in but on a full frame anything from 35mm to 24mm is wide and a focal length shorter than 24 mm is ultra wide-angle.

ok i have a 12-24 on my D3, now thats a wide angle, but my 24mm prime i would consider it, i suppose its a grey area. :D
